Will this really hold up on the pad ears and back of the pad?

Make sure all surfaces are clean before you apply. DON'T put on too much. No lubricant will last forever but I have found this product to be the best for brake parts that require a little lubrication.

Is this good to put on rubber parts, slider pins, clips and boots?

Yes, this is a silicone based material that plays nice with rubber parts. It is very thick though so I use a product called Haynes Lubri-Film just on the slider pins. I use the CRC on the brake hardware and caliper pistons. Once the CRC runs out though, I won't use it again because the tube delivery is just too much of a pain.

How is this product compared to Permatex Silicone Extreme?

On paper they are identical. Silaramic is currently a better value, at $2.55 an oz (5 oz bottle), compared to $3.45 an oz for Permatex (8 oz bottle).
