I wish I would’ve gotten this sooner since we were duct taping our connector together for years. It’s slightly shorter than the original piece on my 10+ year-old miele, but it fits perfectly and is entirely functional.

Some reviewers already noted that the replacement part is shorter when compared to the length of the original one. This is the case too for our Miele Olympus S2121 vacuum canister (manufactured in 2014).Another discrepancy is that the newer replacement part is missing the metal inlay that is supposed to help preventing a static electricity discharge in some cases.Overall a quality replacement from a brand we love and trust.

I love my Miele C1 vacuum but the handle just broke apart one day as I was using it. The replacement handle was less expensive from Miele but then the shipping cost was going to be about another 50% of the handle price. So Amazon had a Miele handle that was slightly more expensive but the shipping was included if the minimum for free shipping was met (I'm not a Prime member). Happily, many reviews indicated that the part really was from Miele (true!) and the shorter size/length worked just fine (true also). I'm not sure about the durability over time... because of the design, I suspect it will eventually break. And this one does not appear to have any metal inside (that I took to be added strength) as the original did, but yet still broke. Oh well, may have to purchase another replacement eventually but it should last a number of years.

Miele is never inexpensive but the quality is worth it

Was a very tight fit on the extension. Wouldn't click in place but was tight enough not to fall off. Only problem was trying to get it off.
