I used these powders mixed with Golden Acrylic Satin Glazing Liquid for a secret painting on a wooden bookcase. It worked great!! You truly can't see the "neutral" paint in regular light except due to the liquid medium's texture at a certain angle. My method was to use a concentrated amount of powder and a small amount of liquid medium and slowly dilute, to make sure it would be glowy enough when mixed. I used thin layers & slowly added layers to concentrate glow color. Because it's powder, if you touch the surface latter there will be a gritty texture. It also doesn't exactly "blend" the way paint does to mix colors since it's all tiny little dots. But it layers. Since my bookcase was somewhere not exposed to the sun I could only rely on 2 blacklight flashlights to charge the glow paint...charging was cumbersome. In my experience, holding the light on a specific section of the mural for a few seconds per spot made it glow for maybe a minute before it was invisible again....it started fading immediately. Green by far glowed the brightest with only slight charging. Keep this in mind since if you use it mostly for highlights or accents, that'll be the only thing showing after a minute if you don't have a good charging source. Aqua by far glowed the longest - it was the only one that lasted for many minutes after a brief charge. It looks more like a cool green when glowing rather than a true blue-green. Dark blue took the most intensive charging to show up and faded quickly. White & light blue were somewhere in between. The LED keychain flashlight included is bright but doesn't cover much surface area for charging a large piece. Therefore, if you're doing a mural I'd recommend strategically placing it somewhere sunny. If you can't, maybe stick to the green and aqua. Despite the limitations (which others may not experience) I am really pleased with how these glow powders performed! With an investment in a blacklight flood light or something stronger covering a broader area, these issues are probably resolvable. If it's helpful I can upload pics later.

The packaging is a bit precarious due to how firmly they snap shut, how full they are, and how easy it is to spill it because it’s a lightweight powder. I use a tweezers and carefully pry the little plastic nubs apart. Not a big deal, but I’d prefer a screw top with a plastic spill guard that fits on top before the screw lid. The green is *by far* the most glowy!! It literally glows when the room is lit. Looks like nuclear waste lol! I use these for my nails. I sculpt gel nails then apply a gel polish, cure it, then dip my nail in the powder (the sticky layer left over after curing is perfect for picking up a thin even layer. I can apply a thin enough layer where it doesn’t cloud/dull the nail polish color much, and it will still glow nicely! If I use a thicker coat (a thick enough coat of the powder that it does mess with the color) it literally looks like a night light! In a pitch black room, I can hold my nails by my face and actually light up my face with them! It casts so much light it’s so cool!! The powder charges quickly and lasts for 7+ hours for me! I will go to bed at 11pm and wake up 6am and they will *still* be glowing bright!

The aqua, green and light blue work the best. These three hold a good bright charge for at least an hour for me and will still show light for hours until they dim completely. The white one and the dark blue are not as good, the white one will take a charge but it doesn’t really show well or as bright and the dark blue one only really works if you have a black light directly on it and doesn’t seem to want to hold charge. Also the size and containers for these were bigger than expected and okay for the price since I’m using them for glow sights and other small projects.

I have not had the chance to play much with these powders due to other project priorities so my review might get even better in the near future. But what little i have tried ( nail polish, white glue, and a commercial soy wax candle that i mixed a little into the pool of melted wax then remolded) gave very good results. The bonus little uv light keychain included was exactly what i needed to excellerate the light absorbed to check the results fast(the darkness of the purple glow would have taken much more light exposure time than i had at the time to get that wonderful of a result!). This company certainly aims to please as the packaging, quality, gift and results are top notch so far. I hope to give a more thorough test of these powders very soon.

I mixed it with modpodge for a specific project and it glows brightly enough that you can see it through the washi tape with the washi tape pattern illuminated. I haven't tried it with resin yet, but it mixed in so smoothly that I don't foresee any problems there to be honest.
