Perler Multi-Mix Fuse Beads Jar, Assorted Colors, Pack of 22000 (PER17000)

What better craft for a summer break than a giant jar of perler beads? This massive jar made so many fun creations and there’s still a lot left. There are a good variety of colors and I fear they’ll never run out. They work as expected - my 12yo figured out the right amount of time and pressure to make so many things with these. Good value compared to smaller kits. I don’t think it came with the molds to hold them while ironing but those are easy to find.

This thing took me SO LONG to sort! Lots of sorting while listening to TV. lolThere's a great variety of colors in this jar. Officially there are 30, but I got a small amount of 3 other colors too. Since it was difficult for me to find a consistent list of the specific color names through these reviews, I thought I would add one. I started getting into making perles and had been looking for more perler beads. This is a great deal for the amount that you get at an affordable price. Will definitely restock in the future.

These are perfect for older kids. A ton of variety in colors makes it easy to make all sorts of items. Hours of play and design time to keep kids and teens entertained.

I wish I wouldn't have bought it. I'll explain. I thought my children would really enjoy perler beads and I wanted them to be able to do the advent calendar and several of the different holiday projects that are shown on their website. You have to have a certain number of beads of certain colors to do these projects. I figured the costs of buying this container vs. buying the individual color bags of 1000 ct each. It was cheaper to buy them this way. I'm quickly figuring out though, that it is a huge pain. I have no desire to hand my kids a jar with 22,000 beads because, lets be honest here, we all know how that would turn out. My plan was to fix up baggies that had the pattern and the beads needed to complete it and ration them out. I've taken on the job of sorting these beads and I'm cursing myself every step of the way for not spending a little more on the individual bags. These little suckers are not fun to sort. They're small and there are about 30 colors of them and 22,000 in all. I sorted for about 5 hours today while my oldest two were in school and I was only about 1/4 of the way through. When my husband got home, he helped and we both sorted another 3 hours. We are currently only halfway through the jar. If you intend to try this, buy the tweezers, they are a lifesaver. I gave this product 4 stars because i received exactly what I expected. The beads are great and so far I'm seeing a pretty even mix of colors. If you intend to give this to your children to freeplay and create at will, this would probably be perfect for you. If you want to do the specific patterns and projects, I suggest buying the individual bags. Otherwise, you will end up frustrated and annoyed by the sorting or you will be depending on your children to handle a giant jar of small beads to dig through to get the colors they need. Sometimes the price for convenience really is worth it.

My grandchildren love these fuse beads. They have made several projects for people in our family. They are easy to iron together after putting these small beads on the board. Great variety of colors.
