BEIBYE- Upper Back and Headache Pain Relief - treatment for Costochondritis and Tietze Syndromeb-Help Back Stretcher, Posture Corrector

I get costochondritis a couple of times/yr. When it struck again on 1/1, I did some research to see if there was an exercise or product that would lessen both time and severity. I came across the Beibye and decided to give it a try. It arrived yesterday and after after quickly scanning the user guide, I gave it a try. Somehow, it did make the costochondritis feel better. But that's not the miracle. I went into the bathroom and happened to glance at the mirror. My posture was good again - shoulders back and squared. I couldn't believe it. A few weeks ago, I had noticed that my posture, which has always been good, was bad - shoulders slumped forward and rounded. That's the miracle! I'll be incorporating the Beibye into my daily yoga practice. Time well spent. The card that was in the box made me laugh (first pic).

This is more of a first impression type of review, and I’ll update this later on how it impacts my Costochondritis. I have had it for two days now and can at least say two things, it is well built and it provides a great stretch for my upper back. I do agree with many other reviews that at the end if the day 40 bucks for rubber and plastic is a bit steep. That said, if it work and relieves my symptoms I have dealt with for 4+ years, it will be worth every penny. The instructions are nice and well written, the device is easy to use, and it is hard enough to give a good stretch. The rubber has JUST enough give to make it more bearable. Satisfied so far, will be over the moon if it resolves the Costochondritis and I can go for runs again without extreme pain. Update: I’m going to keep this update short as everything I said before still stands. I wanted to add that I was able to go on a 3 mile run the other day with no sternum pain. I used to run track, but costochondritis made it too painful to go for runs anymore. I don’t know if it will work for everyone, but it seems to have helped me immensely.

It works. From someone who has been dealing with costochronditis and tietze syndrome off and on for about a decade, this thing is a god send. That said, it's overpriced and can easily be made from items in your home. If you're in pain right now (and have ruled out heart attack, etc) then you can open your sock drawer and fold about 4-8 pairs of socks onto each other to make a big oblong football type shape. It's softer than this product, but it gets the job done just as well. Possibly even better. Lay on it between shoulder blades on the spine (of not too painful) and to right and left of the spine. Have pillows to prop head up and remove them one by one as needed for a deep stretch while still remaining comfortable. This is not medical advice, just retelling my personal experience. You could also experiment with a sports cup covered in a towel or pillow. But I've found that socks work best.

This has been the best purchase I have ever made. I have been struggling with costochondritis for a few years now and have not had any relief for awhile. After reading up on this I thought it was just what I needed but I was skeptical for sure. After receiving it and using it the first time I felt a lot of relief. I now use it 2 times a day, once in the morning and once at night and I will never turn back from it. Highly recommend and so thankful I found this.

Not saying it’s not worth the money but it’s painful to use and for that reason, we haven’t used it after the initial unboxing an try.

I could cry right now. I’ve had this weird chest pain for months which began as mild irritation. This weekend I had severe chest pain that was so debilitating. It felt like my ribs were misaligned and stabbing my chest. I couldn’t stand, walk, raise my arms, or breathe. I went to the ER and they said everything was normal and gave me some aspirin. I had to use YouTube and ChatGPT to suggest a diagnosis of costochondritis and I stumbled upon this device with good reviews. I ripped it out of the package once it arrived and on the FIRST use, INSTANT PAIN RELEIF! I am so glad I found this product.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Cheaper price than the original product. This item is very tall and hard on my back. I tried it for a month and I want a refund but the return time window has past. It is a good idea but I am older and my body can not take the pain.

Have had some nagging problems with costochondritis and slipping rib, this just got here and gave it a go for a little bit and you know what? Actually seems to have helped a bit! The cost was better than the alternative and it was firmer, which is great for me since I have dense muscles in my back and my wife doesn't have the strength to try and massage through all that (not her job anyhow)-- I think this would be pretty rough if you have thinner back muscles; but for a 6'2" 200 lb. Dude it seems great. Otherwise the instructions are really really clear to start off slow and add padding depending on your temperament, and for me I actually had to reduce the suggested padding layers and pillows. All around a solid buy I think!

Given that this is the cheaper version of another product, I was very impressed. Does exactly what the more more expensive product does. It takes several weeks to have an effect, however as a person with very stiff and fused upper thoracic vertebrae, I am pleased with the results so far.

The original is pretty expensive, this beibye is exactly the same but cost about 70% of the real thing. Material and even the instructions are the same.

would recommend this product to those having spine issue. they have videos online and clear instruction booklets too.
