Great album
Vinyl came in fast, wasn't warped, damaged, nor scratched. It plays perfectly, noskipping. Love it

Very poor quality sounds cheap and rushed.
I gave this 5 stars so it wouldn’t get buried. This is probably the worst vinyl I’ve heard I love the album. But this is inexcusable. Right out of the sleeve it was very crackly. Cleaning didn’t help. It’s just like that. It didn’t arrive in media mail. Just a big Amazon box. The sound is hollow. Lacking the depth and warmth of vinyl. Like a recording of a low quality mp3. It’s possible the two disc version may sound better. If you can find it. But I’m not going to bother. If I can’t get my money back. I’ll just consider it a loss. If you like vinyl. You won’t like this.

Superstar
Years ago, when discussing the "best" vocalists, a former successful opera singer said, "The best will never be heard." Meaning that out there somewhere, singing to themselves in the shower or along with the car radio, exists the very best vocalists--but life will prevent them from being heard. I always think of Adele Adkins as one of those isolated vocal natural geniuses who was on her way to never being heard, but then, miraculously, she pushed through. And millions rejoiced."25" confirms everything Adele's fans have hoped. "19" and "21" are not flukes. "25" is already a classic. In it Adele proves she is not a "break-up" singer, or any one genre of singer. Her several torch songs are untouchable by any of her contemporaries. It is as if we finally have been given our modern lasting vocal superstar who can make a song an event--she soars like Freddie Mercury, emotes like Sir Elton John (but without a Bernie), and shows her prodigious control like Streisand--all while remaining unmistakably herself. At my age it is a bit odd to hear songs recorded at 25 with lyrics about being "scared of getting old," but then again, it gives me an almost childlike joy to know what she doesn't: that you stay who you are no matter your age. I could be her mother, but I relate to her and especially her songs. Like everyone else (I suspect), it seems as if she gained secret knowledge of my inner life and wrote "25" just for me. I cannot wait to see what her 30s bring (and 40s and 50s).I hope the astronomical, record-shattering performance of this new album gives her the courage to go on to do whatever she wants. Her fans will always be listening and hoping for more.BTW, if you haven't already, find some video of her singing live. Her songs are extremely difficult to sing, but she performs effortlessly--it is amazing to see.

A great album
25 is the third album by Adele, released in 2015 (after 2008's 19 and 2011's 21). The smash hit from the album was Hello, which rivaled her hit Rolling in the Deep from 21. This was much less of a "breakup" album than 21 was, with the songs being more about moving on with life as we age. I think she got progressively better over the course of the three albums. On this one, all of the songs are very good, even though not all of them ended up being huge hits. But, it is definitely not an album that has one or two good songs and the rest of it is unlistenable as is the case with some artists. She has proven that she is far more than a one-hit-wonder, and she keeps getting better over time. And, of course, she can actually sing and does not have to rely on production tricks to make her sound better as a lot of today's pop artists have to. So, if you were a fan of her first two albums and/or music that falls more into the adult contemporary category, then this is definitely worth listening to.

Oh the angst of love!.
Oh the angst of love!.... no one does it better than Adele. She gives voice to every person who has been dumped, excluded, rejected, dismissed and has made millions expressing human heartache on a grand scale. She is like a sad, beautiful human bell ringing mournfully in the night. IN all seriousness, what a set of pipes this lady has. The songs are nearly all exquisite; there really isn't a dud track on the whole album. Were I to quibble I would say there are a few too many references to getting older; my goodness, Adele, I hope you are not as obsessed with youth and aging as you sometimes sound in these songs. There is time for that much later... go to Paris, see the world, and enjoy being the impossibly rich woman you are! There is more to life than romantic anguish hopefully; as one of your sounds astutely observes, one can be quite lonely within the confines of a relationship as well as on one's own. This is a beautifully produced work of art; I like it much better than her last album, but that one was no slouch either. She will need a bus to take home all her Grammys.
