Q: where is the glass made

I highly doubt they're made in the U.S., as the description says they're TESTED in the U.S....probably made overseas, dang it.

Yes! Three out of eight of mine cracked! One left very sharp and pointed 1" shard of glass in my sauerkraut. Another broke in two in fermentation jar but could not find any small fragments - still, I threw away batch to be sure. One broke in dishwasher - I hand-washed the others. These are unsafe and product should definitely be recalled!

All glass is food grade. Lead is not used in glass making anymore.

I weighed two, one was 70grams, the other 74 grams. In ounces, 2.5 and2.6.
