This a nice egg beater. Easy and comfortable to hold. The only complaint I have is the way it was shipped to me - in a paper shipping bag. Somewhere on the way to me, one of the beaters got bent and I couldn't crank it with the handle, so I had to work out on it until I got freed up so that it would spin, which brings me to the reason I chose this one over all the other ones. I thought the beaters were made with stainless steel. The the only thing I saw that was stainless steel (since I was able to bend the blade to straighten it out) was the post inside each beater, the outside guide that keeps the beaters off the bottom of your bowl, and maybe the rotary gear that turns with the handle (it seems sturdy). Overall, it works now, and since the beaters are thin metal that I can bend if I need to. I guess it's good, but I really thought that the entire beater would have been made from stainless steel. That is what I wanted, but not what I got. They need a better shipping method for these in some kind of a box with packing around it (instead of a cheap paper shipping bag), so that as it makes it way to it's destination and gets thrown around in a UPS truck, the product does not arrive bent. At least it wasn't so bad that I couldn't save it. I really like it and am looking forward to using it, but disappointed that it wasn't shipped better.

This is a complete waste of money. This hand held beater is made of all plastic! It's cheaply made, the beater blades are spongy, the gears are all plastic. Don't be hood winked! This is a piece of garbage!

Will see if they'll replace it. Original review: The beaters seem sturdy and I like that it has a sort of stand below the beaters to keep the beaters off the bottom of your bowl. It seems sturdy enough but I don't think the plastic gear will last as long as the rest of the product. Also the crank handle could stand to be longer to allow you to get a better grip.

It’s plastic wheels don’t fit smoothly together and causes friction when in use

What I thought might be a metal body is actually plastic. However that doesn't alter it's functionality. One of the beaters was slightly bent when it arrived, but they're thin enough I could pull it back out. Overall the wife likes it for eggs and other things where she doesn't want to get out the electric mixer.

Broke after two (2) uses

Easy to handle and lightweight, but solid. The mechanism moves like a drea., smoothly and effortlessly. It's small enough to take with us camping in our RV so we can whip up eggs, pancakes without needing to plug in a bulky hand mixer. We are very pleased with this purchase.

Could not even blend soft butter, eggs and and sour cream. Broke the very first time I used it and my window for a return has passed. Absolute junk.
