Helpful, size up if you’re at the higher end of size chart
I had a grade 2 ankle sprain and after four weeks of staying off my feet, I resprained it immediately yet differently, so I ordered the boot. It helps a lot, but I’m not sure about the sizing. I am petite. I wear a 5.5 or 6 in women’s, 4.5 in kids. Two size charts assured me that XS was the right size for me but I can’t help but wonder if S would have been better. I have to be extremely attentive about the way I tighten this because often times the air cast is pushing my toes over the edge of the boot when I walk, whereas when I am in rest there’s a little bit of room to spare (only about 1/8”). When I tighten the inner boot enough so this issue doesn’t happen, it cuts off the circulation in my toes. There were two size charts in this listing that lead me to believe I was making the right choice. The XS will do but I think the S would have been slightly better If you’re in between sizes, I would size up, It is light weight, the rocking motion of the sole is definitely helpful. I just wish for an XS the outer Velcro straps would adjust to be a little tighter. The Velcro is very strong.

Perfect for a broken pinky toe
I got this for my 9 year old gymnast with a broken pinky toe. She’s able to properly put it on/take it off, in her own. It seems to be great quality and is a 1/3 of the price of the boots at the orthopedic stores. My daughter wears size 4 in kid’s shoes and I ordered the XS. It fit, but it is definitely close. I wish I would have gone up a size.

Best ortho boot!!
This boot has been amazing. I have pain my left foot right near my ankle (I think it might be a stress fracture). I put it on, inflate it and my foot is so secure and no more pain when I walk! It is easy to slip on/off and tighten with the little blue air pump on the side. Would highly recommend this item.

Losses air quickly/Not ergonomic
Rubs on and has bruised my calf despite padding. Has a 1.5 inch lift, so it causes a limp which over 6 to 8 weeks if wear is going to cause issues with knees/hips/back. Generally keep things stable butcthe "Air Bags" do not remain inflated. Ichave to keep pumping it up to keep it snug and working properly.
