Awesome! Rinse twice in cold water!
Tasted great! I had these as part of a NYE mermaid/sea board. Don’t mind the messy table. They are in the bowl to the right. Make sure you rinse them in cold water twice. I just put them in cold water afterwards, but some people like iced water. Whip up a sesame seed dressing. Or buy the Kewpie sesame seed dressing on Amazon, I hear it’s good. Dip your marine pop rocks in it, don’t pour the dressing on them like a salad, they’ll deflate! I love this stuff! I’m totally addicted and these guys have a good price per oz. No weird funky flavor, just a slight taste of the sea, which you should taste afterall. Recommend!

Tastes like sea water
This product is not worth it at all. 1. No matter how many times we rinsed we could not get salty sea taste out of these and there was absolutely no flavor at all! Not sure how they enhance food other than by providing a popping crunch feel...salmon roe so much better for that!

Mild, delicious, crisp, and fun
I followed the instructions on the package to let them soak to rehydrate and then rinse them. I rinsed them twice with clean water both times, and when I tried them, they were very mild in flavor, and I loved the pop. There was no slimy texture, and the were crisp on the outside, tender outside, and had a fun crunch. The closest flavor and level of moisture on the outside I can think of to compare sea grapes to is lettuce. I imagine if you don't follow the directions on the package and skip the double rinse, they might be more slick or even slimy. You have to treat them like any fresh ocean vegetable and gently turn them during the rinse to get all over them. After testing them plain, I decided they would a wonderful topper on a bowl of rice with teriyaki and flaky fish, but I didn't feel like boiling a pot of rice to test this out, so I just tossed them with some teriyaki sauce in a bowl and went to town. They were amazing! The pop as I ate them did remind me a little of salmon roe, but without the teriyaki, they don't carry that same iodine-salt flavor that salmon roe has, so they really do need something like tamari or soy sauce added to them. I'm going to buy another bag and show a little more restraint this time, throwing together some rice bowls with flaky fish, teriyaki, and nori seaweed with the sea grapes as a finishing touch. I don't often encounter a new ingredient that impresses me this much and inspires so much culinary creativity, but this one is a total 5 out of 5.

Tasteless, slimy
They expanded quickly on the water. Flavor wasn't bad. Almost completely tasteless. The slime was off-putting. Wouldn't recommend if you don't like okra-type slime. They were fun. One of my children looked them, one didn't. It was cool to try something new, but I wouldn't continue to purchase them.

Sea grapes 10 out of 10
I'm obsessed with these sea grapes 🤩! I just started making videos about my favorite products, and I'm so excited to share this one with you. I've been shopping on Amazon for ages, and I can confidently say that these sea grapes are a 10 out of 10. Just remember to choose the ones with a lighter color – trust me, it makes a difference! 😊

No Flavor!!
So disappointed! I was expecting these to have a light salt taste and little pop like caviar. I tasted them pre rinsing, totally salty. Then I rinsed as directed and got a product that tasted like water! Absolutely NO flavor, even when I dipped in soy sauce!! It was nothing like described...

Not like the advertisement
Well, mine looked like the picture with the X on it. Brown and mushy. Not like the bright green grape advertised. Instantly threw out. Smelled horrible. Would not purchase again.

Package image is miss leading. For what you pay, the portion is small. Not worth the price paid.

When I bought them instantly, he washed them and put them in a bowl of cold water after a while, like after 5 minutes, I ain't took one and rinsed it and then tried it now I'm addicted and I'm gonna try buying 50 of them they're that good and if it's too salty for you, then it's was not in the bowl of water long enough ok bye bye
