Q: Would a crib mattress fit inside?

Depending on the length of the mattress. The length of the tent is 47”. My crib mattress is 51”. What I did is that I put a rug underneath the outside of the tent for more bottom comfort. You also use kids sleeping bags in it.

Q: Need to buy floor matte separate for this item please advise

There is a very nice play mat that comes with it. The mat is thicker material and it gets tied to the sides so there is no movement. It is the cutest house tent. Well made and easy to put together. My granddaughter loves it.

The walls are a lighter gray than the top.
