Nice tires, much needed upgrade
I have had these tires for about 100 miles thus far and I'm quite impressed. I am coming from 185/55/r15 Hankook Optimo 418s for my Chevy Aveo, which seemed to last only 10,000 miles through Northeast winters and seasonal weather. I opted this time to go for wider tires while staying within my class (82V). These Kumho Ectsa PA31 195/50/r15 All season tires fit the bill and have a superior ride, granted I replaced all 4 tires so even if I were to go with the same brand I would see an improvement, but I do feel a difference in grip and noise. I'm keeping my tires at 33 PSI as to the recommendation on the driver side specification sheet. I have driven in wet and dry environments and find they performed well in both, have yet to try snow. The sives in the tire are noticably deeper than the tire I'm coming from so they seem like they would do the job. The price to performance ratio is outstanding.
