I have a 40 lb dog food container and need to replace the Gamma seal lid (airtight/leakproof). Lid diameter is 9-3/4". Will this lid fit correctly?

I bought 3 of these and they do not fit the dog food bins. Extremely disappointed that it’s practically impossible to find replacement lids.

I'm replacing the Gamma Seal Lid on my dog food container. Is this the same lid or is there a different one for your dog food containers?

The gasket broke on my vittles vault lid. Will this lid (gamma seal lid 2.0) fit the vittles vault? I will not be using the adapter ring.

If your Vittle Vaults gasket is broken but your lid is still in good condition, you can purchase a new gasket ring for your lid (vs. replacing the entire lid).

Will this create an airtight seal for fermentation?

Absolutely NOT. It's not air tight or liquid tight. The oring is to thin-to small to seal properly. I bought 2 and neither one served me well. In all honesty, the $2 lid from walmart worked better, and is food grade.
