Q: is the interior card holder soft foam or hard plastic? what assures cards dont fall out? thanks!

It appears to be a rubberized material that gently holds the disks in place. I purchased two of these and am very happy with the product. Easy access and secure closure with the red snap handle. The case is hard plastic and extremely protective to internal cards. I tested the internal gripping capacity of the material holding the cards by filling every card slot, fully opening the protector(card side down), and tapping the back of the case. Not a single card fell from their slot. Also, I threw the case in a full sink of water to check the floatability and water proof characteristics. The result: no water inside and it floats. This is a superior product and I'll buy more of them. jd jones

Q: Are the demensions accurate seems big 14 x 4 x 8 inches

14 inches isn't correct. The 4x8 is probably right. I have 3 and one of them fits nicely in my coat pocket. It might be 1.4 inches thick.

Hi, we don't suggest to use this case without liners.

Q: Does it work with a lexar professional 1000x 256gb uhs-ii card?

It holds the standard size sd cards as well as the micro size.
