It has a setting for this. However, I've never tested this. I would definitely write to the manufacturer first before purchasing. Also, you might want to consider a DGT North American Chess Clock. These are the clocks that are primarily used in my local chess club and in most of the tournaments I've been to. Hope this helps.

Know this is an old question but this clock is widley used in Backgammon. The way the question was stated was a bit odd, you don't need a time per move in backgammon, you need a delay and this clock has that. There is even a you tube video from the US Backgammon Federation showing the use of that clock for backgammon to.
