It came before scheduled. It filtered well, can't say how long it would last as I had trouble with the well.

I used this filter with a Pentair Big Blue housing as part of my water filtration system. Unfortunately, after plumbing was done and when I took the filter out, I discovered that the blue rim on one end of the filter was broken. The damage was not visible until I removed the filter from its packaging. This is not a defect of the filter itself; rather, Amazon needs to ship these filters more securely, perhaps with bubble wrap or additional protective packaging. Fortunately, Amazon made it easy to request a replacement. The replacement arrived without any defects, but it was still simply placed in a box without much protection, which could easily result in damage during shipping. As for the filter's performance, it has been exceptional. I experienced very little pressure loss—about 2 to 4 PSI at most. The filter is also NSF-certified, which was one of the main reasons I chose to purchase it. Overall, I am very satisfied with the product; my only concern is the inadequate packaging during shipping.

Pricey. Good for a year minimum on my kitchen sink. The Chloromine Reduction drops off first, but the taste improvement keeps going.

It filtered the water just as I would expect, and just as what I would get at Lowes / Home Depot / Home Hardware.
