Essentially, this is consolidation of GCSE work and it's helpful in that, when you get to A level it's easier to refer to one book than your GCSE notes but it doesn't really introduce too many new A level ideas (I felt). I think it's probably still useful to buy it. I think this is especially helpful if you'd had a long y11 summer and need a reminder but as we're in lockdown I'm sort of trying to keep up my chemistry knowledge anyway. Would probably recommend but if you definitely know all the GCSE content inside out I probably would't bother with this and I would get the actual A level revision book which is also available from CGP.

I bought this to get a head start to A-level Chemistry and I loved this book. It is thin with clearly written facts. Exam tips are very useful and the practice questions made sure I understood the content. The layout is brilliant. Would recommend.
