It's a really great duvet. My biggest complaint is the cost for it. I was only able to justify purchasing it since you spend a lot of time sleeping in bed.

The comforter is lightweight and softness is very good. Comfort is good but it’s not a true California king size because it doesn’t really cover my California king bed very well. Sizing is a regular King but not California. Overall happy with the feel and coolness but disappointed in the size.

While I like the weight of the duvet, it's shed a larger than normal amount of feathers since I bought it. So many feathers appear on the outside of my duvet cover, and when I take the insert out to wash the duvet cover, there are an insane amount of feathers. It's gotten to the point where I wear a mask to take the insert out because I'm otherwise inhaling a million tiny feathers. Pretty disappointing.

I was unsure about getting this as anyone who lives in the south will know how hot and muggy it can get even with the beauty of an AC. After close to a month of use and getting into the cooler months for the south this comforter is very well balanced for weight, but also not making you sweat, while keeping you warm when this time of year. Do take into consideration that everybody’s body is different so do with this information as you please, but for me it has been great.As far as washing goes, I was worried about it loosing its “fluffiness”, especial after seeing how flat it got when I pulled it out of the washer, but it puffed right back up after drying and feels like it got even softer so 10/10 in that department.One last thing, I paired this with the “Mellanni Queen Sheet Set - Hotel Luxury 1800 Bedding Sheets” and the are super soft and stay very cool so if you are looking for a soft set of cool sheets I would 10/10 recommend these as well to go with the comforter.Hope this helps in making a decision about this comforter!

I have owned many down comforters. This one is so soft. I put in the dryer for 10 minutes on low heat and it fluffed right up. I was surprised at how light it was while also being super warm. On nights that are not so cold, it still comfortable—no sweating like others I have owned. Well worth the extra cost! Bonus — ties in corner holds duvet cover great.

I have searched high and low for a down comforter. Read many reviews and Brooklinen seemed to be the best bet. I went with the lightweight down and it is perfect. I live in SoCal so there are not many cold nights. Great buy and worth the $. It's fluffy and doesn't make a lot of noise as some down comforters can.

Although this comforter gets good reviews I was worried that as a down alternative it would be an inferior substitute for a real down comforter. I was wrong. This is a really nice comforter and like the fact that it's lightweight. I use it as a blanket and not a duvet insert.
