Is it okay to store inside the car ?

This is a battery folks. Even being very small it is still a battery. Click on the back of the package displayed and it tells you DO NOT keep in high temps. It could explode. Make sense? A normal car sitting in high temps can reach 138 degrees.

is this the battery you use in a calculator?

It can be, and many other small devices like tealight candles and jewelry loups. Recently, I purchased the battery to replace one in a key fob. Match up voltage and miliamp hours for your device.

Gee, David, I wish I could answer this question for you. I bought this battery for the fob of my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited and for that it works great. I'd advise you to check your owner's manual, search for it on google or just do as I did, open your fob to take a look at what's inside. I hope this helps you. Good luck!
