Compact, built well
The media could not be loaded. This rod is nice and compact. Fits nice in it's case, I can feel bites well, it is fun to fight fish on it. So far my biggest fish on it is a 20.10 pound carp. It won't let me upload a picture of it but it let's me upload a video of the fight which shows the rod in action. I'll be taking this rod on camping trips, hikes, and especially to fish for trout whenever I get the chance to but this rod is one of my favorites.

The guides are bent
I'm starting to question Daiwa quality control since a majority of my rods and reels are by Daiwa. 1st time I bought this it was amazing since it felt light, cast very accurately, and sensitive. This rod only lasted me for 5 months but I do fish 4 times a week and take great care of taking care of my fishing rods and reels. I end up sending mine to Daiwa warranty center since mine snap when I set the hook, it only snapped at the blank/butt of the rod where the attach the piece of the rod. The 3 piece was still good. It took 2 months and they sent me a new rod, I tried out the new rod but for some odd reason, it didn't cast precisely. Turns out the guides where bent and I didn't want to wait another few months nor wanted to keep paying for shipping fees again.I end up sending it back again. I don't know when I will get my rod back so I end up buying a new rod hoping this one would be a perfect quality. I am highly disappointed the 4 of the guides are bent slightly and one of them that you can tell by eye. I need a straight guide so I can cast properly. Here is one image of one of the guides that are bent.

Great lightweight fishing rod with a durrable case that can be strapped to the outside of a backpack.
The Daiwa PSO564ULFS-TR Presso UL Spin Rod is exactly what I was looking for.I wanted to purchase a spinning rod with a protective case that is light enough to take backpacking to fish in small ponds for trout. The weight of the rod and case is 11.5 ounces, the case is 22.5 inches long. The rod is a little bit stiffer than I am used to for trout fishing. I will provide updates as I use the rod.I went fishing this morning and caught 5 small rainbow trout. The rods stiffer backbone makes it what they call a fast action. The rod is very sensitive and it was easy to feel the bite and set the hook.It is very easy to cast a long distant accurately. This may end up being my main go to ultra light fishing rod with the Pflueger 4 Lb./100 yard spinning reel.I am very happy with the purchase and would recommend this fishing pole to anyone looking for a good quality ultra light spinning rod.

Great pack rod
Ive got a fair amount of travel rods, the presso is the newest to the collection. Its got a good feel to it, but its more of a light rod than a ultralight. Not a bad thing, but stiffer than I was hoping for.

Good ultra light rod!
This rod is fairly wimpy for a 5’6” ultra light rod. It is very light, which is nice. Not real sure how 4lb line will hold up if it rubs against the ruff rod surface. It has a very small rod diameter. I own no less than 30 ultra lights and this is the oddest one in the bunch! I’m not saying it’s a bad rod, just totally different from any I own. It bends all the way into the handle like an old school ugly stick. It could be the best one I own but I have yet to catch a fish on it due to the weather. 3 stars for now due to the rods ruff finish and little backbone.Update: It fishes just fine. Handles catfish n white perch up to a lb perfect. Even caught a few small bass. No problems the first trip out casting 1/32 oz jigs.

Very Good Rod
I like this rod a lot. I broke it in on a 6-day backpacking trip into the Wyoming wilderness. It worked great. We landed a lot of nice brook trout and my first golden. Rod is really responsive and it was easy to tie onto the side of my backpack as it breaks down into 4 pieces. 5 stars.
