Q: How do you remove the safety cover? *Found a video that shows someone pulling on the bottom plastic blade!

Yes, I had the same question. So, very carefully, I pulled the plastic blade (the flat plastic blade closest to the steel blades) downward and slowly worked it off using even pressure all around. Then I slipped off the safety cover. The plastic blade can then be reattached by re-aligning the ring. Thanks everyone for the advice.

Q: can it chop meat? e.g. small steak to make a cheesesteak?

Hi, this manual food processor can chop, blend and puree ingredients i.e. hard vegetables like carrots. I recommend to add the steak meat into bit sized pieces and chop to the desired texture. Hope this helped ;)

Q: Can I make dough with this chopper?

I don't think you can make dough with this. It's basically just for chopping, smaller than needed to make dough. and would get all gummed up.

Q: can this chop raw cauliflower for cauliflower "rice"

Yes I have used this device to chop almonds.

Excellent food chopper

My wife loves this fantastic food chopper! Cuts down the time of chopping drastically and best of all no tears while chopping onions. Blades are very sharp so be careful when cleaning. Even used it to beat some eggs which surprisingly turned out alright.
