I’ve been using this product for over a year with excellent results. In my most recent purchase, I noticed that the color of the product inside the capsule was white, which seemed unusual to me since betaine normally has a light brownish color because it’s extracted from beets. My first thought was that, since this lab produces a wide variety of supplements, there might have been a labeling error during production. To be sure, I ordered another bottle but in a different dosage, assuming that if it had been a production error, it would likely affect the entire batch, so choosing another dosage might avoid the issue. However, when the new order arrived, the color of the product inside the capsule was also different from the original, so I assumed there had been a change in the formula. I started taking it, but unfortunately it doesn’t seem to work, which is very concerning to me. This makes me worry that there could be a larger-scale issue, and I don’t feel comfortable continuing to take something when I’m not certain what it actually is.
