Yes, you can set a range and will be notified when the temp is outside the desired upper and lower temps.

Can the meat probe double as a pit temp probe? I have two grates in my smoker, and need to monitor the pit temp on both sides.

Yes it can . Sometimes I use the meat probe as a temp probe in my smoker to monitor temps at both ends.

Wow

This Bluetooth Thermometer has a great range. I live in a large Villa and even at the very end of our house, I receive a signal. I also tested accuracy and it is very accurate. Really good product.

Good, but expected much more

Verry nice and accurate, but sometimes you need to remove the probes jack and put it again to fix some minor problems. Good quality product but I expected premium quality with no problems at all for the price I paid.

A good product

It's well made & the battery lasts for so long before needing to be charged. The app is a bit annoying but still worth it.

Great thermometer!

At first I thought to myself the bluetooth functionality was simply a gadget to sell this thermometer. I was looking at various models and ended buying this model on sale. It now turns out that the wireless connectivity and App are awesome! Unlike previous reviews I have read, I find the app to be user friendly and glitch free. This thermometer allows to do something else than check my smoker. It is possible to set custom temperature ranges or use the preset temperature according. The magnetic base works really well and the probes are easy to clean. The only thing I wish was different is the type of plastic used for the thermometer casing itself. Don't get me wrong, it is fully functional, but it feels like one of those cheaper plastics. In general, this thermometer is awesome! I have absolutely no regrets!
