The product works on both battery and USB, but I recommend you to connect with USB for the best performance and the lights are more powerful when you connect with the USB but still works good with double a batteries. First of all matesIt’s not working at all “ batteries/cable “ after trying multiple times and waysSecond , We expect to have a decent quality BUT not a BAD ONEA power bottom only a plaster as a power shape bottom !!A bad experience btw

Good but a little bit expensive

absolutely beautiful piece! a lil pricey as the built isnt too reliable, but its a light so we cant expect too much, but you wont regret your purchase. However make sure to charge it using a wall plug as using batteries will cause it to die down in 2 days if you keep it on for 6hrs or more like i do in my bedroom. Im tempted to try out the pink light one too! :D
