Presto 01781 23-Quart Pressure Canner and Cooker

Ainda não usei.. Quando usar, deixo uma nota sobre o produto. Usei, e é perfeita! Um enlatador de pressão mais que completo ! Cozinha com perfeição, e faz o vácuo direitinho. Aprovei o resultado. Recomendo a compra. É uma cultura que deveria ser mais praticada aqui no Brasil, mais falada inclusive.

Very good, I wanted it for preserving vegetables and it works well

I had been looking to get a pressure canner for years and this fit the bill. I had to spend the extra to get something compatible with an induction stovetop but it was well worth it. I first tried it during my annual tomato sauce run where I normally use a water bath. It performed exactly as predicted in both videos and the instruction manual. Solidly built, straight forward to use, good capacity. I have no doubt this will deliver years of solid service for me. It takes some practice to find exactly the right stove setting to get it to coast at 11 PSI, but once you get there, it's trouble free and trustworthy, which is something important for an appliance that could in theory detonate if misused (This won't) Note, in this picture I was using an additional separator between levels of jars which is not included with the basic product.

This is a great item to have in the kitchen. Though large, it works well and completes the job. Cooking time is cut in less than half. It cook everything evenly as well. I can do a soup and place all my ingredients in at the same time and when the pressure reaches 15, everything is completed and I don't have the problem with some food melting away and some not cooked. No leakage, no fear of explosion, nothing sticks to the bottom, neither does the water evaporate quick, actually you have to be careful you don't put too much water in the pot. Excellent!
