RF 24 105mm F4L IS USM Lens

i am getting err 60 after 3 months of purchasing this lens. unfortunately the store that i bought does not offer canon warranty so have to now pay to have it repaired. i bough the lens form Tradezone.-1 storefront

The lens missed focus several times... about 40% of the time, even when focused manually, using focus peaking. Not sure if it is a general problem or just with the particular lens I received. For such an expensive zoom lens, this is quite unacceptable especially considering it's a professional grade L lens. Had to return it.

Good lens, but not good in low light, I found it struggeling with some of the situations I wanted to shoot in so I changed it over to a 24-70 2.8

This is the best Rf Lens i bought instead of bringing 2 or 3 l'ensemble. Just bring this Lens.

I have to admit that I never owned an L lens and have recently upgraded (to R6) from an APS-c crop sensor 12 year old DSLR. The lens itself is amazingly quiet and fast. And I mean Fast with a capital F. The lens is a surprisingly sharp from corner to corner at any given focal length which is something that I personally never seen before. My old nifty fity F1.8 from Canon, Sigma and Tamron lenses always had image quality problems when fully opened which doesn't happen on this RF 24-105mm. The range of the 24-105 focal length is very convenient too as you don't have to get very close to the subject and you also have the option to go relatively wide indoors or when shooting landscape (or architecture). Haven't tried night sky photography yet though, but I think that it will perform great. The compression at the end of the focal length also makes this lens very nice for portraits, or when you simply want to separate your subject from the background - and all this without spending the premium of lets say 24-70mm F2.8, which is just brilliant and I love it! The F4 aperture is no issue for the new mirrorless cameras as they work amazing with high ISO, plus they also support in body image stabilisation, so if needed you can shoot without any issues with low shutter speeds when your subject isn't moving. The built quality is also amazing for a lens that's mostly plastic (high quality) and rubber. When you hold it feels very dense and the weight is well balanced. Personally I think that I won't be needing to upgrade to any other lens for a very very long time :)

EF24-105mm f4L IS USMからの買い換えですが、解像感も向上してAFの速度も早くなり満足しています。 Rシステムにはうれしいコントロールリングも付いているので、操作性も上がっています。 また重量は若干増えていますが個人的には気になりません。 レンズのロックもあるので、ストラップでの移動中にレンズが勝手に伸びてしまうこともないです。 全体的に満足で、早く買い替えれば良かったと感じました。

Mi lente de base. La utilizo con una canon R8 y la verdad es que es una auténtica maravilla. Cubre un rango focal kit amplio sin perder luz ni calidad. El F4 no es un problema en realidad en la mayor parte de situaciones y sobre todo con las cámaras actuales que permiten una iso mucho mayor para compensar. El rango focal es una ventaja muy grande para poder trabajar sin perderte nada y sin cambiar la lente tan frecuentemente. Yo estoy encantada

Testy obiektywu można znaleźć na wielu specjalistycznych portalach. Wiadomo optycznie i technicznie dopracowany, standardowo jak u Canona zbyt drogi… Zamiast tego skupię się na ostrzeżeniu przed kupowaniem obiektywów na Amazon. Sprzęt tak drogi i jednocześnie tak delikatny, oprócz opakowania fabrycznego Canona został włożony do zwykłej cienkiej koperty, bez najmniejszej choćby ochrony dodatkowej. Jakby tego mało sam obiektyw także w opakowaniu fabrycznym nie został prawidłowo spakowany - plastykowe wytłoczki zamiast być na gorze i spodzie obiektywu, były wepchnięte z boku. Jestem pewien, że obiektyw pochodzi ze zwrotu i nie został przez pracowników Amazon sprawdzony przed ponowną sprzedażą. Oczywiście w opisie nie było choćby śladu informacji, że pochodzi ze zwrotu. Reasumując - to mój pierwszy i ostatni zakup obiektywu na Amazon. Lepiej zapłacić odrobinę więcej, ale nie ryzykować uszkodzenia, które, jak wiadomo potrafią ujawnić się po czasie.

La série L de Canon n'est plus à présenter. Cet objectif ouvre a 4 sur toutes les focales. La qualité d'image est splendide. Comme sur les nouveaux zooms R, il y a un verrouillage du zoom (qu'il ne faut pas oublier de déverrouiller avant de s'en servir). Il est rapide. Précis. Vraiment top comme objectif "à tout faire". Il s'en tire même très bien pour des portraits!
