Great end!
It's Rick Riordan, so I excepted to love it, and I certainly have loved the rest of the books in the series. It was everything I hoped from it and I'm sad to see the series end, but excited to see what Rick will do next!

Stunningly Perfect
**No spoilers were harmed in themaking of this review**"To be human is to move forward, to adapt, to believe in your ability to make things better. That is the only way to make the pain and sacrifice mean something."Hey guys...I just finished The Tower of Nero (The Trials of Apollo, #5) by Rick Riordan. it is the last official book in he percy jackson series, the greek and roman. I believe there will be no more 3 or 5 book series with these guys. But perhaps a novella? I did...I did not expect to be so sad! Well actually I did not quite know how I expected to feel. But I did not expect to ball my eyes out when I read the ending. Gods...it was such a beautiful ending. Honestly I cannot think of any other way it could of ended. Well I probably could have, but it would have risked the integrity of the story. I think Riordan did a fabulous job of what he had created and what he had to work with. I think there definitiely could be novellas to follow particular characters, and there were a few things within this book that made me question particular stories Riordan could craft at a later date. But...all good things have to end. And sometimes they truly do need an ending. Our favorite characters have suffered so much and for so long...they finally deserve some peace. Well, as much peace offered to them within their demigod and monster filled world. Okay, im kinda getting meta, so back to the story at hand, at first I was slightly confused in the beginning how things were progressing. To be honest...I was slightly detatched reading this novel, but I think that was just me and my mindset, and it had nothing to do with the story. (but it does make me wonder if its time for me to grow on and end this chapter of my life as well, who knows). But I did enjoy the new character that Riordan introduced us to, Lu, a Celtic warrior. It makes me wonder if he is going to dive into Celtic mythology next. I really found her character intriguing and her dynmaic with Meg and Apollo. Meg....oh meg....our precious meg was just a frightened and unsure sapling when we first met her. ANd now...**Sniffles** She is a beautifully grown tree. SHe is strong and fierce and passionate and fiery and brave. SHe is so brave. SHe truly defeated the Beast and she is a queen in her own way. There were some other familiar faces within this book, like WIll and Nico. Gods I love them so much. Nico is my poor tortured soul and WIll is my ray of sunshine. THey are just the cutest. I really enjoyed the way they fit into the storyline and realllllly hope there is a novella about them. Of course at the end of the book it showed all other characters we have met over the percy jackson universe and it was...beautiful. Percy <3. MY love, my first bookfriend, how far you have come. You went from vaporizing your pre algebra teacher to...**Sniffles** gods, my seaweed brain. You will forever live on in my heart. And Wise GIrl. Gods...and the praetors, and reyna and....GODS. EVERYONE. I loved everyone and everything in this book, which included the classic Riordan humor and amazing crafting of myths and story and this book held heart and wisdom and sacrifice and action and bravery and courage...and it was all narrated by Apollo. Gods...Apollo. When we first met him he was a a selfish self serving arrogant god who had only one goal in mind, to become a god again, no matter what he had to do or who had to use to get his way. **cries** he has come so far...so far. He has gone through pain, and trauma, and sacrifce, and was truly...human. He truly realized the error of his ways and he opened his mind to new ways of thinking and to be humble, and cherishing and willing to put his friends first, and not himself. He was willing to make the ultimate sacrifice to save his friends. NOw that is a hero. He was willing to right all his wrongs. I have never seen such a transformative character development as much as Apollo's. It was truly an honor to join him on his journey. And maybe we will see him and the others once again? After all, the sun always comes back. OKay...I think that is enough rambling, and I doubt this was very helpful but those were just my thoughts and feelings, and if you want your own opinion, read the series. Till next time. Bye.
