I recently tried the STP Heavy Duty Car Brake Cleaner, and I have to say, it impressed me. The 500ml size is just right for tackling a few brake jobs. What I really liked about it was how easy it was to use. The spray nozzle provided a nice, even distribution, which made cleaning my brake components a breeze. I sprayed it on, let it sit for a moment, and wiped everything down—super satisfying to see all that grime just melt away! It’s great for getting rid of dust, dirt, and any leftover oil. This disk brake cleaner is very effective. I went for bike wash last week and the washer ended up putting diesel in the disc plate and disc pads. The braking went horrible that I didn't cross 40kmph in my r15. Haha. Okay, I searched youtube and internet how to clean oil in disc pads and got to know the disc brake cleaner is the right stuff to buy. I searched amazon for disc brake cleaner. STP Heavy Duty Brake Cleaner was shown in the top and it was amazon's choice. I bought, amazon delivered in 2days at Bengaluru. Today I removed the disc pads and cleaned the disc pads and disc plates (both wheels). Just for quick info. It evaporates quickly. So when you remove tha pads and put spray on it, you need to see whether the dirts or oily stuff getting dissolved in the liquid and drops in ground, then you have clean the pads with a cotton rag to further clean the greasy items stuck like strong gum. Then, I reinstalled the pads and checked for any leakage or misalignment, have ridden few rounds around the apartment, washed the bike and threw some strong water jet into the pads. Now, it is working just perfectly. It will last 3times cleaning for motorcycles I guess. And ₹450 is somewhat justified.

The brakes in my car used to make noise specially when it was not driven for a couple days, it was annoying so I just removed both the front wheels and sprayed on the brake pad and disc . I have not heard any noise so far so I believe that the pads are clean and the spray did the job well.
