My usual purveyor of Stinging Nettle was unavailable. I bought this instead. I tried to stir it into turmeric tea at room temp, no go. If I throw it in the blender, it smooths out. Not much taste in the mixture. Overall a good replacement.

I make a tea using a teaspoon nettle and fresh mint leaves with stevia. I drink it all day long during allergy season and it's amazing - it works great!

Nettles are well known in traditional medicine across Europe, at least. Have to be cooked or processed in some way for consumption, fresh leafs are stinging. Their taste is definitely peculiar, like nothing else, but this dry powder has very little taste at all, so one clear plus for using this supplement in the nettle taste is off-putting. This powder mixes well in a smoothie and in the recommended dosage (two scoops) doesn’t add much to the taste. The instructions on the plastic jar label are contradictory: one side says that the serving is 1/4 cup, the other says there are 20 servings (of two scoops) in the jar. So, 20 servings of 1/4 cup would mean 5 cups, but the jar has 2.1 oz. I will stick with the “two scoops” dosage. There is a lot number and expiration date in fine print on the label. The one I got expires in April 2027, two years away.
