We’ve been using Burt’s Bees Baby Multipurpose Healing Ointment for over three years, and it has been one of the best products we’ve ever purchased for my son. As an infant, he had eczema and would often develop a contact rash around his mouth and cheeks whenever he ate acidic foods because of his very sensitive skin. His specialist recommended applying a protective barrier before meals, and this ointment worked perfectly. It creates a gentle, moisturizing barrier that helped protect his skin from irritation while he was eating. We noticed a significant difference, and it made mealtime so much less stressful. It was easy to apply, stayed in place well, and washed off without any issues. We also use it on his eczema flare-ups, and it does an excellent job of keeping his skin moisturized and helping soothe dry, irritated patches. I really appreciate that it’s made with natural ingredients and doesn’t have a strong fragrance, which is important for children with sensitive skin. A little goes a long way, so one tub lasts quite a while. Even after all these years, it’s still a staple in our home, and I always make sure we have one on hand.
