Are they very large, or have a rough texture making them hard to swallow?

Yes. They are difficult to swallow as is the case with other pills from this brand. I think those responsible for that should be condemned for all eternity to have to take their own pills. To give these to sick and elderly who can't speak up for themselves would be criminal -they are horrific and the company is unethical to produce such a terrible product that is quite literally a choking hazard to the very young and the very old or infirmed. I cannot stress enough how horrible these pills are.

How can you know the expiration date of each order/bottle?
