National Geographic Kids Little Kids First Big Book of Space

This book is captivating not just for kids but also for adults. As a parent, I enjoy reading it to my 4-year-old son and learning some new things about the Solar system myself. It is a must-buy for parents with a Solar system enthusiast as a child.

I love this book. It's the first science book for my 5 yrs old, whom, I homeschool. The contents are precise and introduce the concepts of day and night, planets and stars which are easy to comprehend by a 5yrs old. I would highly recommend this!!!!!!

Nice my son liked it

This book, and others from the same publisher, have been very educative. The content and layout are perfect to hold my 4 year old son’s interest. The Book Depository delivers books in excellent condition. This is my 10th book with them and they’ve all come in pristine condition.

The pages are not bound well (separate easily from the bind) and the pages are easily torn.

I purchased this book for my 5 year old son. He's obsessed with the planets and our solar system (he actually had me make him a mobile, pictured for your amusement lol). He literally knows everything there is to know about the solar system and part of the wider galaxy, so I don't think this particular book can actually teach him anything that he doesn't already know, but it's always nice to have some tangible information, besides all the apps and digital books and I thought it would make a nice pairing with a telescope that I bought him for Christmas. It's a gorgeous book, honestly. It has a lovely lay out, with bright and vibrant pictures and bold and clear fonts, typed in a nice size. It has clear and conscise information, I think it would be suitable for a variety of ages, easily ages 4-11. It has a useful contents page, a solar system map, a very useful glossary and a wonderful index. It also has a nice parent tips section, which has suggestions for experiments and little games. Definitely worth the purchase. I'll update after Christmas and let you know how well it was received.
