does the diameter measurement include handles

It is an enormous paella pan, the diameter of which does not include the handles, but is the cooking area. Mine is in constant use and I have to say, one of my best purchases of recent times. A great product.

Is this pan dishwasher safe?

I would say yes but to be honest I always wash my pans the old fashioned way
