Aitoh23-1022 Harmony Origami Paper Boxed Set, 5.875 by 5.875-Inch, 200-Pack

I have been buying paper for origami projects from Amazon for about 5 years. I really love the diversity of colors and designs they offer. But this Harmony paper from Japan adds a while now dimensionality to my models. Nice finish and range of colors as well

This paper is gorgeous. The folds are crisp. The colors are vibrant and beautiful. I would buy this paper in every color they make, and will be buying this paper again. Highly recommend...Bonus* the paper comes in a nice sturdy box to store and keep flat. The paper is also 100% square

I immediately ordered another pack of these papers. They work for pretty much every origami project apart from those requiring very large sized paper; the color and pattern selection is really great, and the thickness and durability of the paper is top notch.

As can be seen from the graphic of the box, most of the colors vary in tone from the center out, with a few of the papers varying on a diagonal. This makes the paper a good choice for visual effects when folding items such as flowers, boxes or ornaments.I am updating the review that I posted almost 8 years ago when I was first beginning origami. I have recently purchased a new box of this set to use in teaching classes involving flower models. The students really liked the effects that the papers produced. It has been my go-to pattern for items such as flowers and stars that benefit from the changing color from the inside to the outside of the model.Buyers should note the paper is colored on one side, so this should be taken into account in the models for which you use it. There are 25 patterns, with 8 sheets of each pattern. The patterns and colors match the pictures on the photo of the box. Though it is hard to see from the photo, the colors in the left four columns of the photo fade into each other. The colors of the second column from the right are in graduated squares of about 1/2 ". The colors of the right column use graduated bands of color of about 1/2 " These can be less natural looking for flowers, but can be an interesting effect for certain models.In general, I have found the Aitoh papers such as these to be of high quality. The students I taught are mostly beginners and enjoyed the ease of folding the paper.

My daughter is 8 and this set of origami paper has her favorite pattern ad this is the second time I purchased this. The paper is the best to make flowers.

I can't review these for their origami purpose. I bought them for a group collage project. And they were a big hit. Due to the varying shapes of the colors, people were able to create some very beautiful effects in their collages using this paper. Lots of people grabbed for this over any other paper or origami paper. People even took small stacks to take home with them to use on future projects.

Good quality papers for folding. Nice and thin to make crisp folds and a decent assortment. Better than most I've purchased and well priced. Many are too thick or even worse when they are not cut well - not even perfect squares! I would buy again if I needed more.
