These are very basic plastic beads. Cheaply made, cheap to buy, the numbers wear off.

These beads are just what I needed. It's so hard to find number beads so I was thankful to receive these. I give them 4 stars because the description shows silver beads and the ones I received were white. They work though.

They are cute. They are what I ordered. Perhaps I should have read the description better but they are plastic. And although i haven't seen it yet, I have the feeling that if they got wet a couple times all the silver will come off .. like I said it hasn't happened yet because I just started using them. I haven't made any jewelry for myself using them and I haven't put up for sale the ones I've used with these beads. I'm going on pue instinct... But they do look pretty, and they do serve my purpose, I will just have to sell those pieces for cheaper..

I needed versatile numbered beads, at a reasonable cost. I insisted that my visiting nieces make and wear my phone number while visiting the "big city". The beads needed to be able to work for ages 6 through 12, with larger plastic beads and with smaller glass beads.While these aren't metal, you wouldn't know it to just look at them. They worked well for all the bracelets and weren't "too little kid" for the oldest niece to wear.

The 6 and 9 are identical. The holes are not uniform in size, and some holes were tiny. There were not enough 1s. We were doing a project that required 4 sets of 1-24. We ran out of ones, but had plenty of the other numbers.

I expected about the same amount of each number, but was sorely mistaken. There were A LOT more of some numbers (like the number 7) and very few of others (like 6 and 9 looked the same, but there weren't very many so I ran out quickly).
