Innovative Night Light With Temperature Changing LED – Perfect Baby NightLight & for Adults

We were purchased this as a night light for our daughters' room. It started out perfect. Seemed the temperature was accurate or it at least matched my thermostat. The temp reading was nice and very convenient especially during these cold winter months while I'm always worried if my kiddos are warm enough. The light was great too, some reviewers says it's too bright while others say it's too cold, but we found it to be perfect. It was very easy to turn the light on and off by just pushing on the top so I didn't have to worry about fiddling with a little switch or button in the middle of the night.The reason for only 3 stars: the charging port as well as the charger. After using it about a month the charger started falling apart and the metal thing inside the charging port was loose. And I believe we took care of it and handled it with care so I'm not sure what went wrong.We were just going to return it but by the time it hppened we didn't see a return option online so I guess we will try contacting the company and see if anything can be done.After first receiving the product we were ready to get back on here and order a couple for the other rooms but now I'm not too sure. If the charging problem could be fixed then yes I would order more of these!

I love this light and here's why. I had a stroke a few years ago and mobility is an issue for me. The desert tends to get scorching hot out here during the summer months! Some nights I would wake at 2 in the morning wondering if the AC was kicking on because it felt a little uncomfortable in the room, so I would s l o w l y make the trek to the thermostat in the hallway only to discover that it was, in fact, working just fine. I would then S l o w l y make my way back to bed. Just knowing the AC was fine made me feel cool again- look, a stroke really f's you up! Now that I have my Angelic tear shaped temperature messenger:-)No more S L O W treks to the hallway thermostat! Sometimes it is dead on accurate but mostly it reports 2 degrees warmer than it actually is.( I compere it to a digital thermometer that was calibrated with a mercury thermometer ) Un- scientific- but close enough for me. As long as the color stays ORANGE, all is well! The numbers are large enough to see at night from 10 feet away; I keep it plugged in all the time. I love this light and plan on buying them as Christmas gifts later this year

I did like this product, but it is ALREADY broken. I bought it in January, but didn't start using it until February. It wasn't used every night, but my daughter liked it and it was used to supplement another night light. The first issue I had is that it makes significantly less light when it's orange than when it is green. (It was rarely cold enough to be blue or hot enough to be red.) My daughter got scared once or twice when it changed colors at night at it was suddenly darker in her room.She eventually got used to that though. The real reason I give this 2 stars is because the charging input is already broken. It won't recharge at all, and it basically just a piece of junk now. I thought maybe it was the cord, but when I looked closely at the back when the plug goes, I saw that tiny metal sleeve is loose and crooked so the charger doesn't make enough contact to charge the light.What a waste. I'll never spend $40 on a nightlight again. I did think it was a cool idea. Knowing the Temp was handy some nights when it was extra cold or extra hot and it was a cute shape.

I love the idea of this product, but I think the execution needs a little work. The package says to expect a plus or minus two degree difference between the reading on the night light and the actual temperature of the room, yet after having had it plugged in for a few days I have noticed that the temperature readout can sometimes be a full 6 to 7 degrees off. I checked the room temp with a regular thermometer which agreed with the thermostat-70 degrees in my apartment. The readout on the light said 77 degrees.I still love it as a night light, though, so I am going to keep it around. I just won't trust it for any temperature readings.

I purchased this night light for my toddler because it doesn't have to be plugged in. I really do like the night light, I just wish I could choose which color to use. I have only seen the orange and green color. Her room is usually the orange color. The green color is perfect to see in her room, the orange is a bit darker and I have trouble seeing. Overall it is a great night light, I just wish you could choose your color or if some of the colors were brighter. I am use to a normal night light which does put off a lot more light than this night light.UPDATE: I DID like it and was using it. But now after using it consistently for only about 2 weeks it has broken. The connection on the actual night light where I charge the night light is coming loose and I am unable to charge it. It's pretty useless if I cannot charge it. I am in the process of returning it. I am trying out the Kinderglo night light now and I hope that one lasts!

I like the concept of this product. We had it set up in my baby's room for awhile but didn't pay much attention as we have had her in our room for the first couple months. My intention was to turn this on and off for a dim diaper changing light at night. Now that I have used it more, I have noticed that when I touch the cable at the base, the night light changes colors very fast. I don't love the idea of a club scene happening in my baby's room at 3 am. There also does not appear to be a reason it changes like that. It also does not turn off all the way. It dims down and turns green when it is "off" and only truly turns off when it is unplugged. I don't care to screw around with plugging and unplugging in the middle of the night either.

I just got this item a few days ago. I do love the soft glow for my son's room as well as the temperature feature. However, I pretty much have to charge it every day or the battery will die in the middle of the second night. This is WITH turning the item off during the day. If I wanted to buy more cord and outlet covers for my son's room (he's 18 months) then I could leave it plugged in but I don't so that's why I got a cordless one.
