My review of the TeckNet Raptor Gaming mouse.
I've had this mouse for about couple of months now and finally doing a review on it. I'm not a serious gamer but do occasionally play games such as League of Legend, Mount & Blade, Witcher 1 & 2 and recently played Blade & Soul over the summer. For the price, this mouse it worth the $10 I paid for it and will buy another one if this one I have holds up well. It weights 4.00 oz according to my scale and feels good in my medium sized hands. The construction of the mouse is made out of plastic from what I can tell. It looks nice and doesn't feel too overly cheap. I previously had a CMStorm devastator mouse and that mouse was very light and felt cheap compared to the tecknet raptor gaming mouse. The left and right clicks feel precise and makes a clicky sound when clicked. The scroll wheel scrolls up and down nicely. The two button down by the thumb feels good and are distinguished by the top button (foward) having a jaggedness to it while the bottom button(back) has a smooth feel to it. The DPI mode button sits right below the scroll wheel and makes it hard to accidentally hit while playing game. I have my DPI mode at 2000 and it feels fast and accurate to me. Lastly, it is made in China but don't let that deter you from getting this mouse and trying it out. After all, it is only $10.

5 months is a very short lifespan. Because the seller reached out, I can recommend giving them a try. Please read full review!
UPDATE: Shortly after this review was posted the seller reached out to me via email. I greatly appreciate it and find it makes for a very good company when they reach out when a problem occurs with their product. It also shows that this seller definitely reads reviews! Based on the conversations I've been having with the seller I feel comfortable in recommending that you give their products a try! They really do want to put out the best products possible which is why I am changing my 1 star rating and will give their products another try. In this update I have also removed from both title and below paragraph that I didn't recommend the product.I started using this mouse the end of March 2018. This mouse was comfortable to use and didn't bother my arthritis too much. The quality of the materials used for the mouse seemed to be on par with other mice I have purchased in the past. Right off the bat there was one thing I didn't like and that was the super stiff cord. It was hard to get it to stay in the area I wanted it but I dealt with it because I had otherwise liked the mouse. That is, until the beginning of this month when the scroll wheel started behaving erratically when I would try to scroll through a news article. I would be scrolling down a page and during that process it would put me back where I started from. I would still be scrolling downward when this would happen. Just before I received a different mouse I ordered the scroll wheel stopped working completely. Considering the fact that the scroll wheel doesn't typically get used as frequently as the left mouse button I expected it to last a whole lot longer than 5 months. My brother gets longer life out of the used mice he picks up at our local Goodwill.

Priced like a cheap mouse.. feels even cheaper (Update on 10/02/2017)
I ordered this mouse because I had used a different (wireless) one made by the same guys and liked it. This one is a different story though. The mouse feels very cheap, cheaper than what you pay for. The buttons, specially the forward and back buttons near the thumb rest, are very hard plastic and make holding this mouse very uncomfortable. The ergonomics of this mouse is not worthy of even a single star. Worst part, you can't even return this. Buy this only if you need a mouse-shaped paperweight, or if you like to torture your thumb while using a mouse. (1/5 stars)Update (10/02/2017)Soon after I posted my review, a customer care rep messaged me asking how they could help me out. After exchanging a few messages explaining the issues with this mouse, I requested for a refund and they were happy to oblige. Even though the mouse didn't meet my expectations, the customer service sure did. I will be ordering the wireless mouse (from these same guys, TeckNet Classic 2.4G Portable Optical Wireless Mouse with USB Nano Receiver for Notebook,PC,Laptop,Computer,6 Buttons,18 Months Battery Life,2400 DPI,5 Adjustment Levels ), which I had already used in the past and was perfectly fine for my needs.

Much better than expected! UPDATED
UPDATE: Finally getting on my nerves. The scroll wheel like to go up when I'm trying to scroll down. For the price I can really complain. It's better than a mouse going in 2 years that costs $60+, but won't be purchasing again as it was a bit off in the dpi aspect. Either too fast or too slow but it got me through these last 2 years before making me want to throw it against a wall. lolGreat mouse, especially for the price. I was spending $50 - $75 just to have a mouse with side-buttons for going back and forward while surfing the Internet, only to have them break in 2-4 years (for that kind of money, it should last much longer than that). For the kind of money I paid for the TeckNet Raptor, I don't care if it only lasts a year. I'd still be ahead of the game over the others. The cord is braided and very sturdy. The mouse is a bit heavy and larger than my previous brands were, but somehow it glides much easier over the mouse pad than they did. Go figure.I especially like that instead of having to go into my mouse settings and change the speed of the mouse for certain applications, all I have to do is click the dpi switch below the wheel once or twice. It's really smooth moving around the mousepad too.The only con I can think of is that the mouse light stays on even when the computer is hibernating but for this price, I can totally deal with it.I purchased this in mid-December 2016 and will update if it doesn't last at least a year. So far I'm extremely happy with this purchase.

Great gaming performance, superb value
There is a lot to like about this mouse. If you spend more money you will admittedly get a better quality of plastic, however performance-wise, you'd be hard pressed to notice the difference. When gaming, you need a responsive and accurate mouse, and this delivers.I find the mouse to be extremely responsive and never noticed any drops in being able to keep up with the frame rates in games. The DPI shift button is extremely useful if you play different styles of games and need different levels of sensitivity. It fits well in the hand and, although not rubberised, there are textured surfaces to aid grip and all of the buttons are well placed with the forwards and backwards buttons being located on the left. There's a useful raised area near these buttons to help you locate your right thumb so you're always in the right place to use them - there's nothing worse than missing a button in the middle of battle!Other than the normal left and right click, the final button is the scroll wheel, which is in easy reach and looks like a miniature wheel from a monster truck has been used, giving texture and a smooth operation. The mouse glides easily over surfaces and the braided cable is a bonus on a product at this price. Not only does it help with longevity of the cable, I find that, as the cable holds its shape, it provides less drag when gaming as the cable isn't constantly trying to move into a different position. There are no drivers to install, simply plug it in and you're good to go. Oh, and it lights up a cool blue when connected - it doesn't help performance, but it does look good :)If you've found this review at all useful, it would be great if you'd be good enough to click the Helpful button below. Many thanks

Playing Survival games on it in conjunction with a keyboard is a dream
A really nice responsive mouse for under a tenner! It has a long braided USB cable and glows blue to compliment my gaming setup - see pic (apart from the headset, that glows red, but I couldn't find the blue version - yes it bugs me).Playing Survival games on it in conjunction with a keyboard is a dream. The DPI can be changed depending if you love a rapid cursor or like to take things a bit slower with your wrist action. Grabbing items from your game inventory and swiping them across the screen works a dream.Have a look at my other reviews for my gaming setup items on a budget and please chuck me a helpful vote if this helped. I'm happy to answer any questions about the product :)

Review for TeckNet Raptor Gaming Mouse 6D
After receiving my TeckNet RAPTOR Gaming Mouse 6D, I immediately plugged it in. Automatically all drivers got installed and the mouse started working with no problem. Now for the review.DesignThe mouse is of the larger gaming mice which perfectly suits my style. The build material feels a bit cheap but that is understandable for the price of the product. One small thing that bugs me is the "fake" button next to the "Next" and "Previous" left side buttons. The LED's look amazing and the overall design looks cool. Also another important part of the design is the braided USB cable, which will ensure higher durability, and extend the life of the cord.PerformanceFor the normal use performance, the mouse works as supposed to. The scroll feels quite nice and the mouse movement is consistent. Now for the important part, gaming.I tested the mouse during the whole day in different games: FPS (CS:GO, Overwatch), MOBA (League of Legends). The mouse behaved surprisingly good for its low price, the polling rate is not noticeable, there was no input lag or "weird" registered movements. The clicks feel amazing, and so far the mouse sustained and did not show any signs of breaking after intensive gaming and quite alot of spamming on the buttons, compared to some of the cheaper "gaming mice" that break after a couple of hours of intensive clicking.Overall I would rate the mouse 5 stars according to the Price for Performance scale, and would recommend it. It has a cool gaming looking design, the LED's look cool, everything gets registered perfectly, and the braided cable will keep the mouse around for some time. Hope this review was helpful.

No Complaints. Owned and used it now for 3 Months.
I am not tech savvy. It is a mouse. It does what it should. It is super responsive which I like. All the buttons work with the games I use.It fits nicely in my hand not too big and not to small. It glides nicely across my mouse pad with out any hang ups. I like that the cord is braided so as it doesn't tangle up makes for easy cord management.

Really good mouse.
This mouse has a lot of features I like. The weight is good, being heavy enough not to run away with you but being light enough that it is not taxing to use in the way cordless mice can be when running on NiMH batteries. The braided cable is stiff enough to get out of the way when you use the mouse, and the slightly raised entry point into the body of the mouse helps keep it out of the way. Button action is light, but with a definite click. The scroll wheel has chunky tread on it, so has a very tactile feel. The side buttons are very light, but positioned out of the way so I only hit them when I need them. Finally being able to dial in a DPI setting through the switch on the top suits me well, as I like a really sensitive mouse normally, but there are times when image editing it is useful to make the mouse a bit less sensitive.Overall, its a really good mouse that is really responsive, great for general purpose use and, although I dont game much, I actually fared better playing Dawn Of War 2 with this mouse than I usually do, so that can only be a good thing. And one last thing... I love the blue LEDs.
