This cover was easily installed and it fits great, except for the keyboard cover, which does not match up to keys exactly (see photo). The problem is mainly with the keys on the sides. However, the material of the key cover is super soft, thin and gel-like, which makes it easy to type and it's not slippery at all. But the mismatched keys make it look cheap, as opposed to the cover, which looks like one you would buy from the Apple store. The durability of this product is ok for the money, I've had it for a couple of months and one of the corners is already chipping away.

Fits my grandson's MacBook like a glove and provides the needed protection. He needed something to protect his new MacBook (since I've got an investment in it, too), and this case fit the bill. Easy to put on and doesn't come off easily with use. It's not a drop-proof case. It protects against bumps, scratches and other day-to-day wear and tear.

Good product for the price. I bought the deep purple and the color is really nice and cheerful. Its slightly more subdued than what comes out in pictures. Clasps well to Mac. The finish is dewy-metallic and its non-slippery cuz its made of soft plastic. Its sleek. No fingerprints marks and does not scratch easily unless you use a sharp object. The keyboard cover sits (lightly) well too - don't expect it stick to your keyboard like a silicon cover but it would not fall if you turned the mac upside down.Opening the mac futher than 90 degrees needs a slight push as the case corners do touch but its not that big a deal though that part will wear out sooner.Overall a nice deal for the price.

Based on the description & reviews I ordered a black case which I got it today.Noticed immediately the color wasn't black, it was gray-ish & once installed onto my silver mac air it was definietly gray not blackShowed & asked a few people & they all agreed it was not blackInstall was easy & the fitment was good but you see fingerprint smudges on the matte rubber surfaceUsed a damp towel & cleaned off the smudges but after handling it more the smudges showWouldnt use the keyboard cover but was nice that it came with it.Disappointed in the case because it wasnt black & for the smudges - other than that it is a good case.Will contact seller to return - hope this helps*Contacted seller yesterday - still have not received any response (They claim to respond within 24hrs but no reply yet)

I liked the finish of this product. True to color and very light. Good finish and great material. However, my MacBook is a new darker one and so the apple logo is not showing through. It is an easy fix. I purchased a gold decal that is still on the way and so I will pop it on the cover. The key protector works very well. A little bright, but I like bright colors. But is very soft o the touch. Great product and a good price. Thank you.

The Shell is nice the keyboard cover doesn’t quite line up and is a little annoying when the keys are lit up. Also it’s very tacky, I use keyboard covers everyday and they are not as tacky and sticky. Over all it’s a good buy if you can look past faults of the keyboard cover.

The case has a great fit and nice feel. The gold color is really a ROSE GOLD which was very disappointing as I was expecting a match to my gold Macbook. The keyboard cover is nice and totally matches the normal gold. Unfortunately, the spray paint on the rubber feet have already come off after just one week, so if you're buying this cover over others because the feet match you should know that it rubs off with very little use.

The cover is okay. The color, rose gold, matches very well and it fits well. The keyboard cover is a nice addition to keep everything clean, but it doesn't line up very well so the letters look kind of blurry. Also, I don't understand why they show the Apple logo because there isn't one. For the price it seems like a decent cover. I would buy another one.Ok, I’ve had this cover since January. A few days ago the top of the cover cracked in several places. Two days later I found a piece of it laying on the couch. It was never dropped or abused in any way. I guess I’ll look for something else. WILL NOT buy this again.

My daughter loves her new case, provides better protection for the MacBook Air, and looks pretty. The keyboard cover is also excellent - goes over the keys easily and can be removed for cleaning.

worst product.... dnt buyIt doesn't have the apple cut which makes the case looks like local one.
