ACDelco 19300488 Harmonic Balancer

It’s Genuine GM at a reasonable price. It fits and performs the same as the one it replaced, without the grove mine had worn over 318,000 miles. Would definitely purchase again.

Part was a simple swap onto my 6.0. It looks great and seems to work as it should. I bought to replace a worn out factory unit that was separating and rusty.

Installed and works perfect. I only use OE parts for critical engine parts like this. Here's a tip for removing the old balancer: remove the old bolt, grind down the diameter of the flange on the bolt head until it is smaller than the inside diameter of the crank pulley, thread the old bolt back into the crank and tighten snugly, then you can use a 2 or 3 jaw puller to remove the old pulley without the puller damaging the crank threads.

Great price for GM parts.

Had to replace the one on my 05 Suburban with the 5.3. This product fit perfectly with zero issues. I used a 3 jaw puller because I didn't want to rent or buy an actual puller made for these. It was kind of a pain in the rear but finally got it off after about 15-20 minutes. If you have to replace this part, please change out the front cover seal (GM part: 296-02) and balancer bolt (GM part: 12557840). Cheap insurance ($25 for both of you use gm/ac delco), since your already there might as well replace them so you don't have to remove the balancer again!
