Perfect for the repair kit
Nice to have one or two of these in a touring repair kit, along with a couple links saved from any excess chain. Only needed it once in my life but it made for a speedy repair on the road.

Received as expected
I was a little worried after reading a few reviews that I might not receive all 4 links as advertised. Fortunately, all 4 links, a total of 8 pieces, arrived as described. They took a while to get here via free shipping, but that’s okay because the price was low and strangely enough I could not get them at my LBS. Having 26” tires and a 9 speed drivetrain is ancient technology according to some of these bike snobs :(

Works with various chain brands
Been carrying one in my saddle bag along with a chain tool for years....just in case. Never know when you'll snap a chain or need to help another cyclist stranded out on the trail.

Pretty easy to install, a little move difficult to remove. Works much better than a rivet driver and decreases the risk of a frozen link.

Don’t bother with cheaper versions.
I tried a pack of off-brand links, not worth it. Go with these.

Wouldn't Ride Without Some Spares
They are what they are. Easy to install, work great and last a long time. I always keep a couple with me when I hit the dirt and wouldn't ride without them, although I usually use them to repair my friends chains and not mine.

Life saver on the open road if you break a chain. I carry a range of sizes for narrower chains.

Most excellent.
Used two of these already on a brand new Shimano HG53 9 spd chain (on a brand new bike) which has snapped twice after 300miles of use. These links are excellent, unlike the HG53. If you have a Shimano 9spd HG53 then you might want two packs of these repair links.

nur ein Schloß geliefert
Sorry - aber auch ich ging von 4 Stk aus. Klar 9-Fach ist schon alt und ich bin ja auch froh noch eins gefunden zu haben. aber 7 Euro für ein Kettenschloss - da hätte ich vielleicht besser ne neue Kette bestellt und die dann genietet!!!Ansonsten scheint das Schloss original zu sein. Versand ging schnell
