XL should be fine! :) I'm technically a DDD or so according to ABraThatFits calculator, but I wear my sister size 38DD sometimes. The XL was a perfect fit for me.

I ordered one in my usual bra size -- 36A -- and it was so tight I couldn't put it on.

I believe it is the cotton and spandex only....very, very soft.
