Q: At what psi, is the 2.6cfm rating?

The gauge on my regulator says the automatic shut off is around 60psi. The pump is able to roughly maintain this level for a considerable length of time.

Q: How noisy is the compressor?

Sweet! Very quiet. Make sure you build pressure in tank before use. DO NOT use compressor, or air brush with no tank pressure. If tank is low, WAIT! This compressor will get hot and melt seals. I really like mine. 8.85 out of 10! Hard to beat.

Q: Would this be suitable for use with a mist sprayer for a cnc machine? the mist sprayer mixes water with air for cooling a cutter.

No. the single piston will not keep up with a constant need for pressurized air. It is perfect for intermittent bursts of air.
