Recipes and Memories Hardcover – 1 Nov. 2000

This is for all fans of Sophia Loren who also love Italian cooking. I remember saving some of her recipes that were published years ago in a magazine, so was very pleased to find this book However, I'd love to get her first book, "In the Kitchen With Love" for which she received an award, but at £156.00 for a used copy, it's just too expensive. I do hope the publishers will re-issue it soon, as it was so well received.

Been wanting this book for ages. Loved Sophia Loren's 'Women and Beauty' and was amazed to find this book was on offer. Very rounded recipes accompanied by photographs and little anecdotes. A very pleasing tome to own.Delivery and packaging excellent. Very surprised and happy to have this book in my possession which I will always treasure.

So pleased with this cook book lovely recipes from a lovely lady.

I love this book. Have already tried many of the recipes and they go down very well with my family.

The tiramisù is the reason I bought this book and I find Sophia a generous soul.

I wanted to write a review for this cookbook as it was written so clearly and in easy English that I found it fantastic. Sophia Loren didn't leave out any of the details that you need to do when you follow a recipe. I'm not surprised that she and her mother had a restaurant in the 1940s! The recipes are very practical and easy to follow.There are beautiful pictures of Italy in it as well, and Sophia talks to you of her memories of Italy, her family and her life and the times she has enjoyed these recipes, so you really feel that you are in Italy when you are cooking these recipes. They're really healthy dishes too, so I was delighted. I find it very relaxing and therapeutic to look through this book and its pictures as I am winding down in the evening.
