I do have natural curls but sometimes, especially on hot, humid days they don't hold up as I would like it. A squirt of this 'scrunching jelly' rubbed in the wet hair does the trick – sometimes between washing my hair I simply rub the dry hair with wet hands, and the curls hold and don't get 'weak'. It is working like a hair fastener but when I brush and comb them they don't look sticky and feels soft and natural. A tube of this jelly lasts a long time, so it's worth the money, more than the expensive curl shampoos and conditioners.

Great product for my spiral permed hair. I put this on freshly shampooed, wet hair. Once dry, I scrunch to remove the 'cast', and my hair is silky soft, and keeps my hair non frizzy for days.

My favorite curl gel (BioTerre) is no longer being made, so I read reviews and tried this one. I like it crunchy when I first set my curls after I wash them, and then I sleep with a pineapple ponytail on top of my head. The curls seem to last with little refreshing for about four days using this new gel. I think I like it after trying it twice after a wash. (I use a leave in conditioner first, then rake this in with a wide tooth comb) This may be my new go-to to prevent frizz and get some lasting curls for my 3C hair.

I actually love this gel surprisingly, it has such a pleasant smell too! Definitely helped hold and define my waves & curls

Smells nice and everything but I have very fine and wavy hair and it was just too heavy for me. I think it would be really great for someone with thicker hair. I tried using less and just couldn’t get it to work.

Just tried this last night and I LOVE HOW IT HOLDS! I got a good gel cast and it held my curls so well!! Even with the rain, I dont have frizz!

PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT BUY THIS! I am not allergic to anything that I know of, but oh man I have been experiencing so much itchiness in my scalp since I started using this product.This curl jelly leaves white flakes in your hair very bad but ONLY when you REFRESH your hair with it mostly. I would often clarify my hair to remove the white flakes but then I would continue to style with this curl jelly not knowing that this curly gel was the culprit of my misery: even after clarifying my hair, I would still suffer from scalp itchiness and hair fallout.So this time around, I clarified my hair once again but did not style my hair with this curl jelly. Instead, I styled my hair with my tried and true hair gel, and OMG the scalp itchiness and hair fall out was gone for good! A whole week has passed since that wash day, and I have not experienced any itchiness or hair fallout at all.That’s when I realized that the curl jelly was the problem since that was the only thing I had changed in my routine.I threw all 3 that I bought in the garbage where they belong! Avoid this product at all cost to avoid the side effects explained in detail above. God bless!
