Average
The hardbook paper quality is very poor. We only read it twice amd the paper is coming off.

Wouldn’t buy again
Very American which would be fine but I didn’t understand all of the terminology

A very loving experience
This book is adorable. Sweet rhymes. Cute imagery. It always feels like a very loving experience reading this with my 2 year old, and he sees himself and his parents in the characters and dialogue which makes it more special. It is 'Americanised', but that's not an issue for us because a lot of our reading materials are the same way - most good kids construction/vehicle books are American. This has overtaken Goodnight Digger and Goodnight Tractor as a bedtime favourite, and I would definitely recommend.

Too American
Nice sturdy book, ghastly American vocabulary - sorry but I’m English and I’d like my granddaughter to have a chance to learn her own language first!

Best book for constructions lovers age 18months - 2 years
Got this couple of month ago for my 19 months old son and since that day we can not have bedtime routine without it. He loves every page. Yes there is no real connecting story and limited excitment for adults but its perfect for little boys who love diggers etc. Very nice illustrations and smiley happy faces

Lovely ryhming story book but quite dark illustration.
Lovely rhyming book about lots of machinery and vehicles. My little boy loves the story. My only complaint is, despite the understanding that it is based "at night" , the illustration and the words are really quite dark and do not catch the eye or the imagination. I really would have preferred something more colourful to compliment the ryhming verse.
