Nobody paid me to write this review . I believe if the product is good and worth , everyone should write a review . It’s so helpful for others . Anyway, I got this sound bar Ts8111 ( TS 8211 has Wi-Fi ) I plugged on my APPLE TV 4K (new one -2021) it has Dolby Atmos . I was using a pair of stereo HomePods mini , don’t get me wrong it’s amazing and you hear all the sounds and effects , front back and seems like your mind is playing trick on the thing you’re watching . Kinda simulates Dolby Atmos , it’s perfect . Now : when I plugged this little sound bar , Oh My God in heaven , I got this punch in my face ( plug the Apple TV on the hdmi in - then hdmi arc out to the tv ) . I played first transformers the first movie , then Godzilla and Kong , then Jurassic park 1 when the kid asks his sister : did you hear that ? Bum bum bum . That was it, I was hooked up . You can choose movie , music ( Bluetooth or play music from Apple TV ) and tv for regular tv . When you watch tv CNN, National Geographic, you better choose tv . When you watch a movie I have to choose BASS + 5 and TRBLE + 5 ( on the remote controle from TCL sound bar ) the cool thing when you plug your Apple TV on the bar , you’re able to use the remote from the Apple TV to control sound .At last , the bar is nice , doesn’t look cheap . I got from Amazon from $80 , I got the ones it says acceptable with some cosmetics on the sides and top. My sound bar was as new , the box was a little banged up , but who cares about the box . If you want to save money and get one of this little monster , you won’t regret . You don’t even need a subwoofer.I’m very pleased with my TCL sound bar

I just got this soundbar on a cyber Monday deal. It was at my house 2 days later, at 9:30 AM! As a lover of high quality audio, I was very excited for this upgrade because it has the Dolby Atmos option. The setup was easy with my TCL Roku TV (R615/617) Just plug the HDMI cable into the output of the speaker and into your eARC HDMI port and it will walk you through the setup on the Roku TV screen. The sound on this thing is absolutely amazing for a sound bar! If I did a blind test, I would not have thought it was a soundbar. It doesn’t sound tinsel-y, or crackly. The bass is very prominent and is controllable as well with a +/-5 and the treble as well, so you can really fine tune the sound to your liking.There are also 3 preset sounds, Movie, Music, TV. I’ve been leaving it on the Movie mode as the sound is just so much more detailed and immersive. TV sounds like a standard TV, so if you don’t want bass and want that talk show as loud as possible then go for TV mode. Music seems to be a step down from Movie mode. It’s not flat sounding like the TV mode is.Overall I have to say I’m very impressed with this model. I will be adding the Roku wireless speakers and the wireless subwoofer at some point as well which will all work at the same time. I can only imagine how much more immersive it will sound once I add those! We’re going to feel like we’re in the movie theaters but we’re at home and have kept it all under $600 for the 3 different products.TL;DR- amazing sound bar definitely worth buying. 10/10 recommend it to my friends and family! Bass is very deep, highs are crisp and there’s no crackling sounds.

This is the most accurate review you'll get for this soundbar. First off the sound clarity of this sound bar is good the voices are easy to hear and understand which is the true sign of a good soundbar even at low volume. The bass is not bad for a built in sub contrary to what some people are saying. The sound bar can get pretty loud too if you want it too. Yes the sound can cut out once and a while in streaming apps but luckily not that often. As far as the Dolby Atmos is considered it can be heard a bit but not the greatest. Also this bar could use dts and some up firing speakers to really get the Atmos going but that would be up to TCL in a newer model. Overall is this sound bar good on a budget I'd say yes. Recent update aperantly there's a newer model with a dedicated center speaker and up firing speakers. I tested that one and the surround was worse than this one but it did have a nice sub and good voice clarity as well . But this one is better because of the more noticable surround sound.
