Grip on the football is amazing…until it gets wet. However, the real problem is the hole design needs to be a little larger. It looks great in the hand, but my senior football son and I throw 25-50 yards and we are having a very hard time seeing the ball. It’s there, but focusing on it is really hard. The standard ball that completely glows is much better for night throwing and was a gift last year. Unfortunately the LED battery stack rusted out. However thats the ball to get for serious throwing at night. This one is better for younger people and shorter throws
