If your intention is to suspend the soundbar below your TV then the answer is yes. The Echogear kit allows for both rear and underside fixings. Flexible piece of kit. Need to use a little bit of trial and error to get it set up right.

Yes, we took our TV off to fit the bracket. I think it would be difficult to attach if still on the wall but perhaps, not impossible

do you just rest the soundbar on the bracket and not actually attach it?

Brackets have multiple fixings. You only use what parts from the pack that you need to. If your sound bar has screw mounts at the rear or underneath, then you can attach directly to those. It really depends on the model of sound bar you have, where the sound bar fixings are located or if they in-fact have any that are suitable.

Can I use this with tv mount legs?
