The idea is good but here is a bad design mistake: the drill fixing / rotating parts are all made of plastic whereas should be aluminum. The result is that the drill does not remain rigid no matter how much you tighten the screws. This ruins the performance in a way that cannot be fixed. So bad, I would not have bough it if I had noticed before and regret it every time I use it.

The base fixing screws were missing from the set, and I could not find a nail match of the same size

Build quality is very good. It looks smart, feels high quality, and once assembled it’s solid and stable on the bench. Setup was straightforward and didn’t take long, with adjustments that are easy to understand and use. In terms of accuracy, it performs well as long as expectations are realistic. There is a small amount of play, but this isn’t a £300+ drill press, and for what it is, the tolerances are perfectly acceptable. For small drilling jobs and detailed work, I’ve had no issues at all, and it’s far more precise and repeatable than working freehand. It adds a lot of control to a Dremel, especially for delicate tasks where consistency matters more than brute force. Switching between drill press-style use and a rotary tool holder is quick and practical. Overall, a very handy and well-made piece of kit. As long as you don’t expect industrial-level precision, it delivers accurate, controlled results and feels like a quality accessory rather than a gimmick.
