Silicone Gel for Scar Repair - 15g

Worked great to fade my scare after surgery, easy to use and not messy.

I've had a bump around the front of my cartilage piercing for a long time due to a very slow healing process. I used this product per the instructions (including a nice little massage at the scar location) and in less than a month saw results. Weirdly, the scar looked worse before it got better- it got larger and redder and kind of oozy, but one day when I was massing the scar product in the liquid came out, the scar shrunk, and it looks so much better. The scar will never go away completely, but it looks significantly flatter and is no longer round and shiny. I recommend this product for piercing problems!

I bought this for my wife who had a tummy tuck done and she with in a month started to use this Hanson Medical Scarfade Scar Gel, and it is working really great for her the scar is really fading away fast. She tried the stuff in the store that comes in a yellow or silverfish box in the beginning and saw no results so she switched to the Hanson Medical Scarfade Scar Gel and with in about a week maybe two it was showing great results. My wife went in recently to see the Doctor who did the tuck on her was amazed at how the scar looked, she was using the cream he prescribed just not bought from him because he quadrupled or more the price of the cream and I found it on Amazon for little $$. I have been using three Of them, almost one year. It does help on some of the scar but very very slowly. I'm not sure if the scare would fade by itself or not after so long time. I used them on new scars, old scars like 2 years, 10 years and 20+ years. The one about 2 years faded a little. Hype others I don't see obvious changes.

We tried this gel for my child's healed injury for a little over a month without much visible results, before switching over to a different product. I do like that the gel consistency prevents dripping and seems to stay put after it dries. However, I just wish the fading formula was more effective.

I used this product over 15 years ago i ordered out of maagazine for $16.95 i used thru 2 surgical procedures and was recommeneded by by Otolaringolgist, this product works wonderfully, you cant even see where the surgery was performed on my neck or on the side of my ear. I find myself buying it again for my most recent carpol tunnel surgery on my right hand. I want to ready when the stitches come out in a week and i will be ready to use the cream then. I ordered early, paid more this time but it is worth it I still have some left from 15 years ago. Happy customer

Doesn’t work at all

I am using this to clear up some hypertropic scars now along with a scar resulting from a drain from surgery. It works well, but like anything, you have to keep on it. What I like about this gel is that it absorbs into the skin well and dries quickly. Also like how the applicator is designed to not push out a lot at once. You do not need a lot, as a little goes a long way. My only criticism is that with the bottle being opaque it is hard to tell when need to repurchase.
